You are right, its much nicer to know that the little ones are in the same tent, and a family tent with separate rooms lets them experience what it is like to camp on their own whilst still being safe.

If you have a spare bag/backpack at home, use the money you would spend on this product at target instead. There is nothing in here that you can't easily acquire yourself and additionally...acquire things of higher quality. Most of the items look like they were purchased at a dollar store and then tossed together as a 'kit'.

Example - the poncho that is provided in the kit is not even as durable as a garbage bag. It certainly wouldn't hold up in any kind of disaster situation.

There are 3 packs of tissues...I assume this is for all the crying you will be doing in an emergency or the crying you will do once you open up the package to see how much money you have wasted.

So do yourself a favor and DON'T purchase any of these kits. Take the time to go to Target or Walmart and buy things that may actually be useful in an emergency.

I like the fact that there is one for two persons. Get one for your spouse and another for the kids. Check the expiration dates on items so you'll know when it has to be replaced even if you haven't used it. It is slightly heavy but not to worry it's a knapsack.

The first time I bought this kit, I received in a couple of days. The delivery was impressively quick. The kit has all the basics required for an emergency kit of the kind (maybe a compass would be a nice addition).

This time, it was the same: the package arrived in a couple of days. I really appreciated the thought that the company that provides this kit is mindful enough to rush the delivery so that it is available to the customer in such a short turn around time. Very appropriate for an emergency kit provider. It also made me feel very appreciated as a customer.

Had this kit in my car’s trunk for a couple of years but the other day, someone stole it. The irony is that whoever stole it, apparently, was looking specifically for an emergency kit for this item was the only one that was taken .

Anyway, I rushed to buy another one to replace the first one and I am truly satisfied with what I got and the service I received from the vendor.

I highly recommend this kit for a basic emergency kit that I believe everyone should have, both at home and in the car.
